Conteh, this will be a test of the conviction of the Alternative leadership.
Will they take this seat now that the people of Jarra are not mistaken who
Yaya is, or will they not even notice that the seat is vacant until and APRC
candidate is sworn in. The purpose is for moral victory reasons. Yes in
deed, this will be a test run for the pressure that they need to begin to
exert on Yaya. They need to call a meeting ASAP and agree to put up a
winning candidate that is backed by all of them. This is not the time to
even the score with each other, but to win this seat and use that momentum
to rally the people to come out and speak up (mass action). Jammeh will get
the message and they will show him there is no backing down and forward we
shall move. This is also the time that each of us should call the
Alternative leaders that we are in contact with to express to them the need
to fight together in a united front agaist the APRC. Yet another
opportunity to jumpstart our campaign against Yaya and the APRC.
