NRP's Nation-Wide Tour Hamat Bah Hits Niumi

Banjul, the Gambia

The National Reconciliation Parties vocal leader and National Assembly
Member for Upper Saloum Mr Hamat Bah seem to be creating waves during his
ongoing his nationwide campaign tour.

In Nuimi Lamin and its environs, the NRP leader called on the people to
"flush out president Jammeh and his government," claiming that the present
regime has not benefited the Gambia people.




Bah also Jammeh's government carried out spoke on what he called "the
deportation of our Gambian brothers back to the Gambia," which he claimed.
According to the NAM member, a delegation, led by the former Immigration
Direction Nai Ceesay (now Local Government Minister) was responsible for
deporting Gambians whom he said, are "searching for greener pastures inorder
to support their families who are suffering." He called on the youths to
give him "a hand of support inorder to remedy the situation."

Commenting on the devolution of the Dalasi, Honourable Bah commented that
"our money is seriously devaluated and the food commodities are getting more
expensive while a bag of rice at Kanilai is sold for fifty Dalasis."

AtChilla village in Upper Nuimi, Mr Bah called on the people to remain
steadfast and vote for him. He said president Jammeh neglected the farmers.
" 90% the Gambian population are farmers and they should be given priority."
He told The Independent in a snap interview.

In Muyagen, hundreds of supporters joyfully welcomed the NRP leader, dancing
to the sounds of music blaring loudly from a mobile public address system.

A youth activist Gimba Jassey and his delegates publicly announced their new
allegiance to the NRP Jassey told the Independent that he shifted to NRP
because of the good leadership of Honourable Bah whom he called as a
competent man in the National Assembly as he always fights for the right of
the nation.

In his address to the people of Muyagan Hamat Bah asserted that the Gambia
people shall never regret it if they voted for him in the forth-coming
elections.

At Kerr Amadou, the national assembly member for Kiang west, Honourable Musa
Njodoe promised that Jokadou would soon develop if only the NRP comes to
power. Meanwhile, the NRP campaign team continues their nation-wide tour.

From Kerr Amadou, Hamat bah proceeded to Mokunda in Upper Badibou where he
told the people that president Jammeh is still building some health centres
without medicine inorder to fool the people.

According to bah, the people of Sadibou will suffer he urged the people of
badibou to vote for him in the forthcoming elections. He also called on them
to start selecting their polling agents and forward the list to Karamo Njie,
the chairman. He promised the people bicycles, which he claimed, are coming
immediately. The National Reconciliation Party leader asserted that
transparency and accountability no longer exist. He also mentioned the crude
oil saga which he claimed will be cleared to the Gambia people in due
course. Meanwhile, the NPP campaign team continues its nation-wide tour.
