Assalaamu alaikum Alpha (nee haw maa)

Alhamdulillah and I am one of those who had a chance to work with you as a
student and contemporary (class of '81...GHS and SAHS sixth forms). G-L,
what I liked about Alpha was that he combined academic excellence and
student activism in a pragmatic way. He never rushed to action but when he
did he was firm.

I'm sure PaOusman Jarjou and others who were with him in China can attest to
his recounting of the incidents there. Finally, I say keep your head high
Alpha and may Allah keep you well as a role model for the youths flocking
into Germany.

Allahumma salli wasallim alaa Nabiyyina Muhammad. Wasalaam.
Modou Mbye
