Jabou, Omar Joof, Cynthia, and others, thanks for your interest in this
effort to save the Gambia.  I have been getting suggestions regarding how to
proceed with this fund.  One of those suggestions was to issue a preliminary
set of guidelines to get us started.  I have also had discussions with some
regarding the need to save the money in some kind of financial instrument
for the money collected to earn more money as we march to 2006.  No, we are
not talking about derivatives.  we will discuss that when we set up the
forum for the donors.  In the mean time, you can send your contributions to
my attention, Joe Sambou, 8046 S. Kimbark Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60619.  By
this weekend the form for this fund will take shape, just bear with us.  In
the mean time, please pledge and we need your support.
