Subject: Take Action to Fight AIDS in Africa!

Urge President Bush to Fund the Fight against AIDS in Africa!!!

This past Tuesday marked the one-year anniversary of President's Bush's
2003 State of the Union promise of $15 billion to fight AIDS in Africa.
This year, AIDS in Africa - the worst health crisis in human history -
was decidedly absent from the Presidents address to the nation.

This was not surprising.

Though Bush has talked a good game, his true policy on AIDS in Africa is
little more than broken promises and betrayals.

He was silent, because during the past year, the President refused to
put any money into his emergency AIDS initiative. Instead, he spent the
past year strong-arming Congress against allocating the $3 billion he
promised for the 2004 budget.

As the White House delayed, 2.4 million people in Africa lost their
lives.

The outlook for the President's 2005 budget request already looks bleak.
The White House is poised once again to break its promise of $3 billion
annually for AIDS in Africa. Bush also plans to cut funding for the
Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria - the only program up and
running and saving lives NOW!

That is -- UNLESS HE HEARS FROM YOU!

We Need You to Immediately TAKE ACTION: Email the President: urge him
not to squander the lives of another 2.4 million men, women, and
children in Africa!

Please follow the link below to email the president. It will take less
than 3 minutes.

President Bush is set to release his new budget request in just one
week. We must take action now!
