activities during the week of 21 – 25 May 2007.

The African Diplomatic Corps (ADC) is devoted to promoting and projecting

working together with its US partners to highlight and emphasize these
positive changes and successes, the challenges they present, and of course
the importance of engaging the US on these processes.

furthermore, intensify their ongoing engagement with schools, universities
and communities.

The highlight and feature event of the week’s activities will be the Gala
Cocktail Reception on Thursday, 24 May 2007 at the National Building Museum.
The event will feature prominent members of US Congress, US Administration,
the Diplomatic Corps, speakers from the continent, as well as
internationally acclaimed acts by African musical artists.

On Friday, 25 May the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
will host the ADC for a breakfast discussion and a tour of the facility,
including a viewing of the signed treaties between the government of the US
