                           INDEPENDENT OBSERVER NEWS NETWORK

                              BY OUR BANJUL CORRESPONDENT

News just came in that the NADD leadership meeting which was scheduled for Friday, has been adjourned to Saturday. Leaks from NADD said the chairman of the coalition Assan Musa Camara, was not feeling okay medically and as such had asked his colleagues to adjourn the meeting to Saturday. It is expected that by Saturday, the task force will submit their report on the profiling of NADD Presidential aspirants.

Three NADD officials are being considered for the NADD flag bearer position, Messrs Halifa Sallah, Omar Amadou Jallow and Ousainou Numukunda Darboe. Our Banjul reporter says there is growing concern within opposition supporters in the West African country, over the recent leadership rift in NADD. Party officials are currently busy discussing ways and means in dossing the mounting tension, which observers say if not handled with care could lead to possible political break way.

A senior NADD official, who sounded optimistic told Independent Observer News network that come Saturday something "positive" will emerge from the NADD meeting. The official who refrained from commenting further says the future is bright and God willing they will come out with something positive.
