Hi Haruna!
Thanks again. That was the lot I had. The next time I go to Gambia,
maybe I'll contact you and ask for a list of things you want me to
photograph so you would not stop the remittances flowing. In the
meantime, I look forward to your pictures when you visit. Have a good
day.
Buharry.

Subj: Re: Pictures From Gambia: Seerekunda, Brufut, Sukuta etc.

Buharry,

Quit playing with me. The problem I was having was downloading. But
with that fixed, I don't see the pictures I needed to see from this
batch. What are you, a spy? I mean my friend Tunkara just got through
calling me wondering why Buharry is taking pictures of his loft and
rental property without telling us why. Is there a story behind why you
take the picture of houses sprouting in a heap of cow dung???? Even my
architecture student can't get a clue in this hidge podge.

As for me, I need to see pictures of you sitting down to lunch with an
ordinary Gambian family. If you haven't done that, you need to get
another ticket and go back. What is this? How about "a day in the life
of Sol Gambia? or Sally Gambia? I said "the life and culture of an
ordinary Gambian. None of this architecture is indigenous. You're a
tourist Buharry. And Yahya said to showcase our own culture. Are you
not listening???

All I wanna say is, you know I want to love and encourage you right?
Well if you compile these pictures for a coffee table companion, I will
not purchase it unless you accompany them with a short narrative as to
why you took the picture. Be a real friggin photo-journalist. This
could be so much more valuable. And why would anyone build a brand
spanking new underground tank gas station and not pave the dirt
above??????? Is there any zoning in this DaarManso-forsaken place?????
What is this. I'm getting upset all over again. I better stop. I think
I need a smoothie. I don't even know if I should look forward to the
next batch Buharry. Promise me I will learn something in the next
batch. I'm not in this for friggin nirvana for nought. That's all I got
to say. For now. I vill be vatching yew Buharry.
Haruna. And mams I don't wanna hear it. I'm not looking for temporal
delight. Khappeeness Laala waxh.
