Folks,
I have been thinking loud recently, please allow me share with you. Are
these three gentlemen, Uncle Sidia Jatta, brother Halifa Sallah and Mr.
Samuel Sarr, Politicians or Educators? Politician, I mean one whose
ultimate goal is to control the wheel of power, captain the Gambian and
steer it in a direction they see fit ala Barack Obama. Educator meaning
one who believes that every Gambian must be made-aware (formal or
informal) about their role in the new Gambian nation And that an
informed populace will be liberated to know what and who is right for to
move the Gambia in the direction ala Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Given
that these guys have been at this for the last 30 yrs, will history
remember them as Civil right educators or politicians?
