Brother,
The List Managers CANNOT do nothing. Remember, it was Yusupha Jow and Ebou
Jallow who were on each other awhile ago.
The solution to these problems is to CHANGE the ListServ from "UnModerated
to Moderated."
There are THREE different types:
1.Moderated---- in this this kind of ListServ, you(Manager) read all the
Messages posted to the List, and you Decide which to Post(Send) and which to
Reject.
This takes the Most work on your part, but it ensures that your List isn't
"Spammed, that the discussions stay Relevant, and that the List isn't
Hijacked by Abusive people who want to post Obscene or Objectionable
messages".
2.UnModerated----- in this kind of ListServ, every message sent to the List
Goes out to every other person on the List Automatically, Without your
intervention. This takes the Least amount of time on your part, but opens up
your List to "Spam and Abuse".
3.Broadcast----- this type of ListServ is for One-way communication. Only
you can send messages to people on the List. People on the List can Receive
your mail but CANNOT send messages to one another.
So, the only way the List Admin. can do is BLOCK or DENY the IP addresses
or Subnet Mask of Yusupha Jow, Ebou Jallow, Pa Modou and All the rest who
Resort to Using Obscene language form posting to the List.
We All have to respect each other and REMEMBER that we are SHARING the List
with people of different ages.
