My dear brother thanks,
Your sustained heartfelt postings deserves every commendation.
I tried to forward one of your contributions to the Mellenium forum but
they did not post it because they say it was too long. They seem to have
some limitations to the number of paragraphs to be sent. But all the same i
took some of the data there in and post it quoted anyway.

My dear friend i was schedule by my friends at the United Nations to join
the youth representative for the sumit. But the Gambia Mission
to the un will not approve my request. Many nations paid for a
youth representative as outlined by Kofi Anaan, but the Gambia Government
fail in this historical move. This sumit is the first of its kind to do
this. Our 'president not to be soon'is scared that if i speak at the sumit he
will have little if any crediblity in the un spheres.
I was very disappointed at the un for requiring approval from governments
especially the likes of ours. I made it crystal clear to them that the
majority of Gambians will be better represented by someone other than Yaya.
They agreed abundantly after analysing his speech and actions. They
sympathise with me but site rules and regulations they must abide by.

The international community wants to help Gambians but their hands are tight
by international law of ferivolous sovereignty, a cruel policy in my humble
opinion.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Yankuba jammeh for informing
newyorkers for our community services.

Thanks to all of you for your invaluable contributions.
               Sincerely kalilu camara

>>Ebrima,
>>KUDOS to the organisers of yesterday's demonstrations at the United
>>Nations. Special thanks go to the Movement for the Restoration of
>>Democracy and all those committed Gambians who have demonstrated to the
>>entire world that Gambians have decided to confront Yahya and his cohorts.
>>As a result of the successful demo. yesterday, Yahya is engaged in
>>damage-limitation exercise by deciding not to visit Washington where the
>>Washington team is in a state of alert. His wife, who travelled to
>>Washington yesterday will return to New York today before joining his
>>murderer husband and the intellectual prostitutes that form his entourage
>>for a trip back to Banjul on Saturday, 9th September, instead of the 10th
>>as earlier planned. The net effect of the successful demonstration in New
>>York is the curtailment of his trip by one day and the dropping of
>>Washington from his travel plans. The Gambian Link provided by Mr.
>>Makaveli
>>is proving very popular around town. We all await the video shots of the
>>demonstrations for a more accurate account of the event which proved
>>embarrassing to Jammeh and his entourage. GRTS will, no doubt, try to put
>>a
>>spin to the Retired Colonel's UN visit but we no better. Thank you
