I don't think you should read Jabou's revelation with ''Utter dismay. Why?
Remember this, that every story has another side. I also believed people
jumped to conclusion without getting the Facts. Some  people are not honest
and sometimes has a motive to say something for their own selfish interest.
Jabou's story regarding her friend according to sources familiar with the
case is unfounded. Quote, Jabou was misled. The said person manipulated the
U. S.  Govt. to acquire a permanent residency through a Refugee Status.  This
acquirement of the said document, according to the source has led to the
seizure of his passport. The same source said the INS is investigating the
case Quote. You mentioned about the renewal of your passport and the same
source told me yours is in the process and you should get it anytime soon.
The embassy of course cannot renew passports of those with a Refugee status.
You might apply for a Dual Citizenship in that case and God knows how long
that will take to get it approve.
Like I've said many times, that, we've to be cautious with our postings and
to refrain from misinforming the public. Be sincere.
