The allegation that this individual manipulated the U.S government to get a
refugee status and this is what led to his passport being seized is utter
nonsense. The U.S government is not so stupid as to be manipulated, and these
things are done acording to strict procedures for you  and your source's
information.So, then, are we to understand that it is the INS who seized the
passport,  even though it was the Gambian embassy who mailed it  back home
and made the comment about the list? Tell your  source  to practice their
rebuttal a bit more infornt of the mirror  so they do not  come out with
statements that  do not make sense at  all. Further, if infact this was  the
reason for the seizure of the passport ( and l assure you it was not) then
why is it that the embassy did not  inform this individual that this is the
reason for them seizing his passport, and that he needed to apply for dual
citizenship etc etc? All untrue. This individual even went so far as  to get
his relatives  to pick up passport applications in Gambia  for him to  fill
out, only to have  someone  by the name of Naye tell his relative the same
thing, that he  will not get a passport because he is on a list.
As for the cheap comment regarding the INS investigating the case, l suppose
it is intended to scare someone, but it is wasted on us. Perhaps they can try
that one on someone else who is not knowledgeable about INS laws, or who has
something to hide from INS.
How about signing your real name instead of hiding  behind these initials?
