Mr. Gassama,
Thanx for responding to my piece and sharing your good thoughts on the way
forward. Grants and loans in the past as i understood have fattened many an
expatriate. There are times when part of the budget remains in the donor
country. On other occasions administrative & technical components slice a
huge piece leaving very little to reach those it was intended for in the
first place. Let's hope that is not going to be the case with this D810
million grant!

On the debates, i believe we have our different styles and attitudes. How we
initiate or respond to issues is our individual trait. I strongly believe
that List members are very capable of knowing what they want to consume and
what they do not hesitate to use a delete button on. No sermons there!

About the monopoly of ideas and being the most patriotic, it does not take
anyone anywhere. Infact some of the best scientific/technical, cutural and
political landmarks in our history as humans turn out to be works of
collective effort. I appreciate your humility!

Lamin Sanyang
