Prince,

The President is not going to name a Mayor. There is going to be an election
and APRC will present a candidate. Presently there are three potential
candidates from the APRC fighting for be nominated the APRC candidate for
Mayor of Banjul. They are Mass AXI Gye, "Manu" Williams (i do not remember
his full name)and Saloum Njie.

BIRI did not want to run for the position and as matter of fact he was the
first person to nominate AXI Gye during a meeting in Banjul follwoing the
appointment of Samba Faal as Secretary of State for Youths and Sports. Biri,
Samba and the Samba Faal machinery supporting AXI.

Biri is going for council.

PEACE

TOMBONG
