A committee to assist in the rehabilitation of cemeteries of the Greater
Banjul Area has been formed. The state of the cemeteries and the one at
Jeswang, in particular, leave much to be desired. Because these
cemeteries are not fenced, stray dogs visit it at night and desecrate
the tombs and those laid there to rest.

The committee members( Mr. Abou Dandeh Njie, Chair, Mr. Alpha Barry of
Deloite and Touche, Mrs. Adelaide Sosseh-Gaye and Mr. Deyda Hydara,
Editor , The Point)appeal to all Gambians and friends of The Gambia to
assist financially in this noble venture. Please support this effort!
All donations can be sent to:

Thanks
Abdoulaye
