My piece was directed at people who are supposedly intelligent and serving
the Jammeh regime despite its repressive character.  Survival has never been
a good rationale for becoming an accomplice to the wanton destruction of
lives and liberties. At best, that's a callous excuse.

One who is intelligent would have a deep appreciation for the direction of
the APRC gang and would not want to be associated with it in any way.  What
does it take for one to learn lessons from the experiences of Secka, Conteh,
Jasseh, Dominic Mendy,  Mrs. Sanneh-Bojang, etc.?  For a broader picture,
where are the people who worked tirelessly to prop up characters such as
H.E. the President, Dr. Samuel Kanyon Doe; Field Marshal Idi Amin Dada, CBE;
Abacha; and, Emperor Bokassa?

After all, who says any administration has a monopoly of our skills and
resources?  I doubt if many of the folks concerned would have much
difficulty finding employment outside of Jammeh's sphere.

Well, I got to stop here, as the saying goes: "brevity is the soul of wit."
