James, Latjor, Astrid, Tijan, and the ALD Crew 2001,

You people are to just keep your heads up high. There is nothing I have seen and heard on this year's ALD
that can keep you guys down. With all that you have undergone to put this event together for the community,
all in the open! no hidden agenda! with no organization in charge; y'all have done exceptionally very well,
considering the issues and circumstances you were facing.

No need to worry about the critics. When positive results are seen emerging most of the criticisms will be
buried down the earth, and many will come join y'all. Some of these critics, maybe with there heads down,
will come to realize what it takes to pull-off an event at this magnitude. Constructive criticism would help.

James, Astrid, Tijan, Latjor and the rest I know, have been in this yearly event for many years now. They deserve
all the credit in the world. Latjor in particular has been in the organization Atlanta July 4th. for many years before.
With his experiences dealing with the Gambian communities, hum, I am sure he can write a book on is.

BTW Atlanta's Community Org., UGOA, is hosting this year's July 4th. Community Reunion and hopefully y'all can make it over, give a hand to the community building process, that being projected to reach-out and assists Gambians all over the world. Only us Gambians can make it happen for us, our families, and generations of Gambians to come.

Bottom-line, there will always be critics. Keep that in the back of your minds, take it and move forward.

Superb Job, Well done, Bravo!!

Peace
King Solomon

> We knew from the start that regardless of what we do or how much we try, we will never satisfy everyone. I fully understand that and I welcome criticism. Regardless of what is said, I will not take things personally and I will continue to assist in any way possible.
