I was in St. Louis about three months ago . A visit to the incredible
ARCH by the river is a must. It was built over twenty years ago & is a
real wonder with the stainless steel monument ( in perfect angles)
meeting at the peak  There is an elevator inside which pauses as it
moves in a circular manner. The engineers who designed this structure
did  a good job. The scenery is even better at night on the Illinois
side not the Missouri  State section.
