BREAKING NEWS:TAMSIR JASSEH, SAMBA BAH, ABDOULIE GASSAMA, NDURE CHAM'S WIFE ARRESTED!!!!
  Banjul witnessed yet another mass wave of arrest of civilians yesterday, as security forces rounded up Tamsir Jasseh, former Immigration boss, Samba Bah, EX NiA boss, Lamin Gassama Chief Security officer at the airport, Mayor Abdoulie Conteh and the wife of army fugitive Ndure Cham

  Mr. Jasseh, was said to have ran into a local embassy in the tiny West African country, in a bid to seek for sanctuary but was refused entry, the Freedom Newspaper was informed. 
  Reporting live on the line to Banjul our correspondent Ousman Cham said” As the arrest of suspected coup plotters continue,more civilians have been added to the list of the recent arrests. The following as I understand, were among those who were picked up by security forces for an alleged involvement in the foiled coup. They are: Samba Bah, former NIA director and SOS for the Interior, Abdoilie Conteh,former KMC boss, Lamin Gassama, Chief Security Officer at the Airport. The arrest of the Accountant General was also reported but this has not been independently confirmed. Also, it is said that more than 15 people have been arrested in addition to those that have already been named.”
  In another development, the Freedom Newspaper was informed last night that the wife of the army chief of staff fugitive Ndure Cham Awa Darboe was also arrested and placed into custody. Mrs. Darboe Cham was reportedly arrested from her Bakau residence by armed security men who sources say grilled her over her husband’s whereabouts. Up to the time of going to press, Madam Cham was in custody.
