12-year-old poisons own family

There was panic in Mbuya Parish, Nakawa Division on Friday night after a family of seven were reportedly poisoned by their member, a 12-year-old girl. 

The girl identified as Florence Akinyi is said to have been in love with a boy in the neighbourhood and residents believed the two had wanted to elope after the mission. 

The residents add that the boy's sister-in-law, one Maama Lillian advised the girl to put poison in her family members' food. 

Some of the family members including the girl's mother and brother told Radio Simba they have stomachaches. 

By press time the strange girl had been taken by Police in Bugolobi.
