Sources from Banjul have confirmed that Margaret Keita was fired today June 14th.
The same source intimated that Bammy Jagne too received his termination letter as The Gambia's Ambassador to the united states of America.
Mean while Keita has been replaced by Mr Alieu Ngum,who until his appointment was serving as Secretary General at the office ot president and head of the civil service.
Jagne's replacement is yet to be confirmed.Rumours have already started spinning around the appointment of One Njogu Bah a Gambian in Atlanta NOT! Njogu Bah the permanent secretary.
The formers's name surfaced at a vous in Serekunda because it is said that he is preparing to take up the post pending the release of his appointment letter from the Dept of State for Foreign affairs.

Justice Sam please you are being invited to reconfirm this story because yours too are usually from reliable sources.

Jammeh should understand that no amount of firing,hiring,re-hiring and even "cleansing" old hands, can assure effective services as far as suspicion,greed,intimidation and applying ruthless methods are the condiments of his hot soup.This government is real hot soup for The Gambia.
It is no shame for someone to be fired from the Jammeh government anymore.The shame now is for someone to be appointed or line up for a job.
