Momodou,
I did mention in my response to you that in my series, i will give
references. I was just quickly responding to your email, but i did make that
opoint if you rad my email.
Regarding the verse you have quoted, it pertains to the earlier Christians
before the advent of the Prophet, and the Jews before the advent of Christ.
The Qur'an is clear about the fact that those who do not believe in all his
books and all his prophets, and who have deified them are unbelievers. The
Jews refused to accept Christ as the Messiah, and the Christians refuse ot
accept Muhammed as Prophet and the last messenger of God. If you read the
Qur'an, i am sure you have come across the reference to these two groups by
the Qur'ab as unbelievers.
Yes indeed, a touchy subject, but we have ot make sure we do not just report
some of it.
