I've been reliably informed that the Deputy Inspector General of police, Mr.
Tamsir Jasseh, has been relieved of his duties, yesterday. Can someone on
the ground inform the L on this issue.
That no room has been made for progressives in the present make-up of the
administration is without doubt. Should Gambia-L members refrain from
giving sensible advice for the Gambia, I think not! But, if because of the
recent posting asking that Tamsir be given a chance is the justification for
ousting him, how much longer should it take us, and by what means, to rid
ourselves of the jokers we have parading as leaders(not!)?
