Elhajj,

I join you in saluting the Gambia Government for this noble gesture.  I
have no doubt in my mind that this is one healthy step towards a
genuine reconciliation.  This spirit should be nurtured by all sincere
Gambians regardless of ones political persuasion.
FYI Jammeh wanted to grant amnesty to Jawara since 1995, and now God
has prevailed.  My congratulations to both President Jammeh and Sir
Dawda.
