"Although, we are fully aware that one has the right to choose and
associate with whomever they want to, we would like all those involved
to understand that as it stands right now, the FACTS and REALITIES of
this community is by far what has been disclosed by those who seem to be
either looking for ways to exploit either the monetary benefits of the
APRC or are quickly seeking recognition."

Abdoul, thanks for your astute observations. IMHO, what gambian communities
in the diaspora need is a serious government that can tackle serious
issues. The APRC government has been in power for nearly 8 years and what
have they done for gambians in Atlanta? Diddly-squat! Now all of a sudden
they think they can just come here and buy us all with a measly $20,000 (or
what's left of it). How pathetic! This is very sickening to put it mildly.

Abdoul, Keep up the good work you are doing in the community. It is very
reassuring to see that we still have people in the community with
principles; people who are truly committed to "the FACTS and REALITIES of
this community"; people who would NOT mortgage their souls to strengthen
the hand of the devil; people who would NEVER forget that this is the same
government that allows the massacre of our 13 innocent children, children
as young as 3 years old; the same government that continues to make its
survival on intimidation and inducement. NOT IN OUR OWN BACKYARD. We have
sycophants and opportunists from every corner of ATL, but that number is
nowhere near 80% as this poor smug(Barry) would like others to believe. He
can lie to APRC authorities with his figures but hardworking ATL-gambians
(who survived over 8 years without a single butut from this government)
will NOT kiss up to these morons. It ain't gonna happen! Hell, what is
$20,000 when gambians in Atlanta alone send hundreds of thousand of dallars
annually to their families and friends in the Gambia. Like I said, these
APRC sycophants are simply pathetic. They all need to be institutionalized.
