Ous bojang:

I simply could not agree more. No offense to KB or Hamjatta, because I think
they are crucial players in the movement against Jammeh on the Gambia-L.
However, Ous Ngum did nothing wrong. All he did was to give the other side
of the coin and this in my opinion is a perfectly fair approach. He
sympathized with Chongan and then reminded him of his purported brutality
toward other Gambians.

In fact. I had a friend who was a neighbor of Chongan and he seemed to echo
similar sentiments to Ous and Samba Linguere (my fellow Bostonian), except
that he expressed these sentiments in much stronger language. I also heard
this story of one instance where he hit a fellow soldier over the back of the
head with a rifle butt, knocking him out in the process. This happened in
Cape Point during a raid of some Americans who were running a massive grow
operation in the countryside. This is an unsubstantiated report from my
acquaintance who was his neighbor and hopefully these are not true.

But the main point here is that Ous did nothing wrong and as such he does not
deserve to be berated.

No offense to anyone. Just my opinion..
