On behalf of the elders,constituency executive,Womens wing,Yayi
compins,entire youths,Councilors,and well wishers.The secretary general of
the APRC Bakau constituency,wish to express their honour,respect,and
continous support for the APRC Government.The constituency is aware,and
appreciates Government`s effort on the socio
economic advancement  of Bakau.The whole constituency join me to
congratulate H.E Dr Alh Yahya AJJ Jammeh on his landslide victory in the
October 2001 polls.Bakau constituency had made a very positive increase in
the votes for APRC compared to 1996 which is as follow,
1996 the opposition won with 1,436 majority,but in 2001 election the
majority dropped to 709.This gives us the confidence that the APRC will win
the National Assembly seat in the forth coming election to join the
Government of the day to achieve meaningful development for Bakau.We finally
thank H.E Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh for his generousity for
the Bakau people,and pray to Allah to give him strength,and wisdom to
peacefully rule the new Republic of the Gambia.
