POEM:-Costly Fuss

  Poem:-Costly Fuss 
  Costly,Costly,not cheap! 
  Marks on the face, marks on the torso,marks on the limbs. 
  Leaping whips, Screaming crouches. 
  When will it all stop? 
  The Almighty knows,’ cause He started time. 
  'Harbaah-mo-mun-heureum' the performance of sacred verses supersedes myth. 
  'Gollo-hamut-mbaja'-Monkeys do not use blankets. 
  When the creeping waves hit the shores....Hmmm. 
  When the shells are being washed away....Hmmm. 
  Time after time bad blood is spreading on the national floor.

  Time after time bad blood is spreading on the 
  Demba said so! not long time ago! 
  Recent times cannot be erased so easily. 
  Good doggy, good doggy...bang! here comes a stone. 
  Who can escape this vicious arena? 
  Do not wash blood with fuss. 
  Groaning in chains.... How can that be sweet? 
  Mourning on the silent plains isn't it a sad ending? 
  Brother Killing brother! Sister Killing Sister! 
  Brother Killing Sister! Sister Killing Brother! 
  Stop it now and grease the engine of peace. 
  Who's angry? The air or the land? 
  The people or the feelings? 
  No more little, feeble, people! this isn't a mob anymore. 
  Calculating the velocity rate of a flying bullet? 
  Making peace with a bloody sheath? 
  I do not understand this theorem. 
  Isn't this feeding me while beating me? 
  Isn't this cheating time where essence is closer to nonsense? 
  Silence within screaming crickets! 
  Force rushes, force does not snore. 
  Why wash blood with fuss? 
  Why offer these orphans another odd omen? 
  History is not fair whereas time sees everything. 
  Breathe cannot be in that deep grave. 
  This is one thousand feet deep! 
  Sorrow cannot be shallow? Sorrow is too deep! 
  How many sorrowful eye lashes? 
  How wet are they? 
  Weep not child! Weep not! 
  Papa and Mama. These are words every child loves. 
  Who is near this orphan along the dark corridor? 
  Who is there to scrape mother's tears from the pillow case? 
  We are neither shy nor silent, we are watching and bowing before the lord of the universe. 
  Power belongs to the Almighty!
