I want to commend you and the entire STGDP membership for this 
objective press release.  You have set the record straight.  I believe
we can get out of this hole if we continue to reach out to each other.

No political system is without problems.  It is imperative that since 
our problems have been defined, we must seek to unite, despite our 
differences.  I extend to you and the entire STGDP membership an
olive leaf.  

Now is the time for us to come together.  Now is the time for us to
talk to the rest of NADD executive about the danger of nominating
another presidential candidate.  Now is the time for us to reach the
mountain top.  Jammeh is the worst thing that has every ruled the
Gambia.  Should we disintegrate into political selfishness and immaturity?
I hope not!  Should we repeat the events of 2001?  I hope not!  Because
if we do, we will be accounted for as fools with no sense of direction.  

While every Gambian has a right to seek the presidency, my interest
in this job is in the landfill.  I would rather have Jammeh defeated than 
enable him to continue his dictatorial imagination.
