I have found some interesting information as well.

In China, a drug called TPA has been and continues to be tested on patients with some forms of cancer as well as patients infected with the HIV virus/AIDS. The effects on the cancer have been quite impressive. Testing on the AIDS viorus continues. The company, which is a Chinese company and who claim that this plant grows only in Asia already has some patents in place and others applied for here in the U.S. Their approach is on a strictly scientific basis with ongoing research and testing to eventually support their claims.

The drug is derived from the seed oil of a plant called Croton Tiglium which belongs to the plant family Euphorbiaceae.

When administered to patients, it was found to cause the following reactions:

Increased body temperature sometimes lasting up to 4 hours.

Those patients infected with the AIDS virus and some in various stages of AIDS experienced gradual improvement of their symptoms, improvement in apetite, and diarrhea, oral lesions and fatigue dissappeared.

However, none of the patients have been found to be free of the AIDS virus.

Various patients either had viral loads that stayed the same, increased or decreased but none of them have ever been found to be completely free of the virus so far.

I nust admit that I also thought about the presence of the Taiwanese ambassador at the announcement after I found this information.

  Hi everyone,

Something sparked my curiosity when I saw this link
 http://natureproducts.net/Medicine/Revivo.html on the Gambiajournal website.
Reading through it, i kind of thought the coincidence is too good to be
 true. Remark the following points:

 - revivio is made of herbs
 - its side effects among other things include diarrhoea
 - it is drank is a murky-like tea (for the chinese which could be local
 juice for the gambian).

For me, China and Taiwan rings the same for its like saying Senegal and
Gambia in the social-cultural terms. If the chinese are using such herbs
couldn't Taiwan also be able to use them?

Recall everyone! Who were invited when the President announced his
'discovery' of the cure. Among others are the Taiwanese ambassador and the
Cuban ambassador. Why Taiwan? Cuba one can understand are involved in
providing the medical personnel but why Taiwan?

 A bit of reflection there!!!
