Yus and Haruna

This is stale news to me. I read this information from
the Daily Observer sometime in January 2001.

What I know for sure is that this Prize-Giving
Ceremony was all part of the Daily Observer trying to
improve Yahya Jammeh's tarnished image. Buba Baldeh
had to do something that would make Yahya consider him
for any ministerial appointment in the near future.
The Prize Giving Ceremony makes no point about those
principled journalists. In a fair appraisal system,
the likes of Mr D.A.Jawo, Ebrima Sillah, Sherriff
Bojang(jnr) and Olufemi (jnr)_ won't have been
excluded from the merit award. I presume Jungle
Sunrise should have won an award for defending APRC
abysmal record on the Cyberspace.

Just a thought, no hard feelings
Sanusi

This sounds like a who's who in the prize-giving
ceremony of Observer High School. Some are
well-deserving of an award, but from The Current
Observer????I guess they need more print-rice-paper
from Taiwan.

Les plus importants
