Gambia-L:

The unedited e-mail below came from a source in The Gambia. To all my
sources: Just keep it up! Your important role in the struggle is highly
appreciated. Frankly speaking, I for one do not take Tombong Saidy seriously
anymore.

Ebrima

>Ebrima,
>On behalf of all of us who provide you with information pertaining to the
>illegal activities of the illegal Jammeh regime, we wish to express our
>sincere appreciation of the continued confidence a significant number of
>your readership has in us. We do not pretend to know everything that this
>regime is up to, but the little that we know, we'll try to share it with
>you. We'll continue to contribute in our own little way in the struggle to
>liberate our dear country from a group of criminals who are determined to
>continue to plunder the merger resources of this small country of ours,
>causing harm to ordinary Gambians. As long as the G-L need our services, we
>will continue to give it, regardless of the strategy Tombong Saidy, Kebba
>Jobe and others decide to adopt. We shall never be distracted from the just
>cause of getting rid of Yahya Jammeh and his government through the ballot
>box, if possible. To Mr. Kanteh, we say thanks for your continued support
>and the confidence you continue to have in us. Mori Kebba, your question
>as to whether Tombong has been recalled will never be answered by him. (He
>knows why.) Beside, he is very selective in his contributions to the L. He
>responds to questions that seem to cast doubt on the integrity of the L
>rather than responding sincerely and accurately to the numerous questions
>posed to him. In addition to your question, and many others posed by
>members, I would like Tombong to confirm or deny the fact that Bwiam
>Hospital is still incomplete and that the Libyans are extremely mad at the
>fact that the money given has been squandered by the Jammeh Government. The
>Libyans are demanding explanation from Jammeh himself.
>On the Baba Jobe story, we offered last week to retract it in the event we
>were proven wrong. As at this writing,Baba is still not seen or heard
>(exactly two weeks today). There is something seriously wrong with the
>relationship between Baba Jobe and Yahya Jammeh because of the
>blood-diamond case which is still being hotly pursued by the international
>community and the international press. Any comment Tombong?
