"The foundations of White suprimacy was built on false illusions"
Sophia Bah,
Fantastic piece,Respect, The oral griot history is still well and alive. As Africa is more free
and liberated the expression of African history Art and Culture will be properly utilise. Gambia
has a wealth of knowledge. I hope our musicians can make use of this.

Additional remarks on my turn:

As European nations were ahead of us in the field of destructive weapons and arms of dominations,
they took advantage of these and carried away in horrible conditions millions of Africans to being
fertilility to the Americas. Then, with the support of their power of destruction again, thoes
nations came and
colonised the remaining people of Africa.
The theoritical justification of Imperialism is a DENIAL of all human faculty to Africa and the
African whose company is obviously degrading. In the face of all these showers of disgrace ,and
because we were treated like savages some of us join the otherside like Senegal by proclaiming
Negretitude and Dakar as
Peti Paris.
Negretitude is hard to killand it is still prospering in some schools, literary circles and
cultural clubs of Africa.
Now it is Africa's time. Europe and America cannot claim the world rightiously, we can.

WE ARE THE AFRICANS.

Powers !!!

Oko Drammeh
