After a confusing day of waiting for information regarding Yahya's arrival
time and terminal, about 50 Gambians headed for JFK International Airport and
others to the Park Lane Hotel [switched from the Grand Hyatt - the cat and
mouse game has just begun] on 58th street and 6th Avenue.
Upon arrival, the security around the perimeter was so tight bit we managed
to slick thru one at a time to assemble at the main entrance, with innocence
on our faces. After about two hours of waiting, a Gambia Mission Employee,
Colleh Saine spotted us and informed one of the NIA [National Ignoramus
Agency] who contacted the Secret Service Agents and we were forced to moved
to the next block, as the perimeter around the hotel was a sealed and secured
area. We complied and went around the block and was hounded by the same NIA,
cabbage-patch-faced idiot, complaining that we were up to no good, hence we
were again forced to move another block, or else, we would be arrested. A
heated argument and exchange of words ensued and low and behold, Yahya's
escorted motorcade appeared and got held up by the red light and stopped
cars. We started yelling, Yahya Jahanama go back home, Gambians in USA don't
need you here; Yahya Jammeh Child murderer; Yahya Jammeh is a terrorist and
drug kingpin; Yahya Jammeh, tell the USA go What happened to our human and
constitutional rights in the Gambia? At first, the fool thought we were
friendly Gambians trying to welcome him to NY and started waving at us with
his hypocritical "KURUS" in left hand, but was taken aback, when the Secret
Service Agents in the sweep and rear escort, shot out of their vehicles to
protect his, Yahya's car. Brothers and sisters, you should have seen the
fright and bulging eyes, scared the wits out of him.
I guess, it's 1 for Gambians and zero for Yahya Jammeh. We hoped to keep the
momentum going forward and swear to make life hellish for him, while in NY.
Therefore, all concerned Gambians and friends of Gambia, should write, fax,
email or phone Yahya Jammeh at the following...GUYS BE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND
RESPECTFUL - NO THREATS AS YOU WILL BE VIOLATING USA LAWS:
