List Members,
The flu season is here and it is time to go get your influenza
vaccines before it is too late.
Influenza commonly known as the flu is a serious disease caused
by a virus that spreads from infected persons to the nose or
throat of others. It can cause fever, cough, chills, sore throat,
headache, muscle aches from head to toe and above all these, your
bodies ability to fight other infections is lowered and other
serious infections such as bronchitis and especially pneumonia
can occur, and these can be life threatening. Anybody can get
influenza and it is reported to cause thousands of deaths each
year, mostly among the elderly.
My friends the INFLUENZA VACCINE can prevent influenza and can
save you from spending a miserable week coughing, feverish and
aching from head to toe. If you think you are at risk for getting
influenza you should get vaccinated. Out of extremely rare
conditions or adverse side effects that can occur with any
immunization, the only health reason for not getting a flu shot
is being allergic to eggs.
Go get your shots.
God Bless. May Peace and good health be upon all.
Alasana Bah
