Lawyer Darboe and his delegation slated to be at this weeks' ALD Conference
on Saturday, May 26 would not be able to make it to DC as planned. Urgent
party matters requiring their full and immediate attention has precluded them
from departing on their scheduled date in order to make this important
meeting. Having confirmed attendance several weeks ago, the delegates had
every expectation to be here but the circumstances have regrettably
necessitated a rescheduling. They are now planning on coming at a later date
in June. The fundraising reception scheduled to held in Silver Spring for MR
Darboe and the UDP has also been postponed.
       I apologize for any inconvenience the change of plans may have on the
way folks scheduled their time especially those coming from out of the Metro,
DC area.
