                                  BREAKING NEWS:DARBOE, SAVAGE,CAMARA, SANYANG AND OTHERS ARRESTED!!!!
  BY OUR SPECIAL MILITARY AFFAIRS CORRESPONDENT 
  The Freedom Newspaper Military Affairs Correspondent, was able to lay his hands on the names of the some of detained army officers. The army coup suspect detainees were identified as Captain Bunja Darboe, former army spokesman, Lieutenant Musa Savage, commander of the military police, Lieutenant Wassa Camara, Lieutenant Faring Sanyang, and RSM, Alpha Jallow, alias Leisure.
  In addition to these arrests, the Freedom Newspaper also gathered that over 12 junior army officers were also detained by the country’s law enforcement officers. They are currently helping security agents with their investigations. 
  The foiled coup ring leader is reported to be on the run, but military sources have doubted the government’s claims. They say Cham was either detained or killed. The government however, maintains that the former army chief was at large and solicited public assistance to trace his whereabouts.
  RSM leisure was arrested some years ago with LT.Sanneh, LT. Seckan and others after been accused of trying to overthrow the Jammeh government. Both Seckan and Alpha were released and deployed to various unit in the army. Alpha Jallow was later moved to the Fajara Barracks. Jallow is a native of Manjie-kunda. Alpha, was a personal body guard of President Jammeh during the early days of the coup. 
  The Gambia is said to be experiencing economic and political uncertainties. Dictator President Jammeh, is said to be ruling that country with impunity. Jammeh survived about ten failed coup plots since he came to power through a coup. It is reported that there is military stand by across the country. 
  In another development, a curfew was imposed in The Gambia, Wednesday evening and residents were warned to respect the curfew shedule or risked being arrested. It is reported that the regime is increasingly worried about a possible show down by some soldiers who are believed to be loyal to the detainees.
