A jolly good fellow indeed!

The thing I admired about Father Murphy most was his intelligence. The man
would occasionally walk into our class and tease us with these mental tests,
and I always anticipated the moment he would come in.

He was also a strict disciplinarian with ligftening quick hands. Just ask
those who he slapped. He also used this yellow cord to whup many students in
his office before Form 1 Circle. Chei, I got into trouble once with my dear
friend, Jabel and the man gave us a lashing I will never forget. I walked
out of his office with my derriere on fire.

The last thing the great Murphy said to the graduating class of 1986 was the
following;
"Folks would you rather be rich & unhappy or reasonably well off and happy."

I take this thought everywhere I go.
