Cherno:
If I may add, Senegal should do it's best to take their final group game
seriously. I say this for two main reasons.

I was one of the folks who prior to this tournament was singing much
accolades of the team. However, after watching their game against Egypt, I
came away with the feeling that the team needs a lot of work before they meet
France in the World Cup opener. I fear that they are not quite ready for the
big time yet and the as such, they may seriously falter should they play a
game against top teams like France. For this reason, I think they'd be
better served by taking all their games between now and WC with the utmost
seriousness and commitment in an attempt to improve their level of play.

Second, as you can probably see from Habib's schedule, second place in their
group would mean a quarterfinal game with Cameroon, a very difficult
prospect. Whereas a good performance against Tunisia on Thursday would see
them not only top their group, but also face a less daunting quarterfinal
opponent in DRC (fomerly Zaire). Mind you, I wouldn't mind seeing a match-up
with Cameroon, except that the more games the Lions have in this tourney, the
better their preparations and experienced gained for the WC opener.
Hopefully, they shall beat the DRC and face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in
the semis.
