In my opinion this is a wonderful thing to do and all those who have the possibility to contribute should definitely do so but on the other hand I wish to see that our hard working Geso executive be given the mandate to coordinate the funds,in that way the turn over(balance),if there should be any, could simply be transferred to the scholarship drive funds that they are managing.This is solidarity,keep it going on.

  I am hereby offering D1000 toward the educational expenses of the ex-GAMSU vice president whose funding was withdrawn by Jammeh's gang because of his statements on the April 2000 massacre.

  I hope to hand the money to a representative of The Independent newspaper (Baba Galleh, preferably) to channel the funds to the student.  I am also challenging others to do the same.  May be one of our organizations could spearhead this drive in collaboration with The Independent.
