Kabir,
         I agree with you wholeheartedly. You observations are astute and
reflective of what seemed to have happened. Tombong erred by effectively
making a declaration regarding the dynamics of the second round of voting and
the ultimate outcome. Your counsel for a whisper to Yankuba Touray is an apt
one. I would second it with a suggestion that he take  along a bullhorn
incase a quiet whisper does not exactly register.
I join the other list members in congratulating the people of Senegal for
democracy work.
