Hi there,

I think we have a BIG mis-understanding here. I don't think Asbjørn in any way meant
to question your bravery in standing up against President Jammeh, and doing so in
public for that matter. I think he (or she) just meant to point out that it would
help a lot if postings from the [log in to unmask] address are signed. Matter of fact, I
was thinking about the same thing the other day, when I replied to your posting about
President Jammeh's hiring and firing. To lend support to Asbjørn's original posting,
I suggest that your reserve the [log in to unmask] address for official correspondence
(e.g. press releases) from your Movement, and get a personal e-mail address from
Yahoo, Hotmail, or other sources so you can sign them with your name. I think this
will help a lot.

In the same vein, Ebou Colly, who as been sending some very interesting and
informative postings about his take on the '94 coup, other alleged coup attempts, and
the Jammeh government should also tell us who he *really* is. Given that many people
have suggested that he is infact Samsudeen Sarr, I will encourage him to do us a
favor and tell us who he is. He has made some fairly grave, detailed, and specific
allegations that I think would remain flimsy unless they can be attributed to a known
person, rather than a pen name.

It was just about a two or so weeks ago that I heard Mr. Sainey Ceesay, father of the
late Finance Minister Koro Ceesay being interviewed on the BBC about the failure of
the government to provide them information about Koro's fate. Mr. Colly's
allegations, if true, would be tremendously valuable to the late Koro's family and
friends in their efforts to find out exactly what happened to him, and seek justice.
For this reason, I would again urge Mr. Colly to please let us know who exactly he
is. Besides, some of his postings are so detailed that I'm sure the people he is
accusing know him, so he certainly would be foolish to think that a pen name would
conceal his identity from the Jammeh government.

I guess that's about it. I gotta go get some sleep!

Katim
