Folks,

Please, please, for God's sake let's move on. Like I said before, my
identity is not and should not be the issue. I have been on record several
times challenging the opposition to provide their agenda for the development
of the country and so far they have failed to do that. Those of you who are
honest enough and can muster the courage to risk being bulldozed by some of
your overzealous comrades will admit that despite all the support you wish
and are willing to give to the opposition parties, they are still to
convince you all as to what they will do, when given the mandate of the
people to lead us. Mr. Saihou Mballow briefly appeared to be the UDP cyber
spokesman but has so far said very little about UDP's comprehensive
governance programme for the country. Or did I miss it?

The UDP, as well as the NRP, have woefully failed to give the electorate any
comprehensive reason as to why we should support them except. As far as I am
concerned the only vivid recollection of what the UDP stands for is their
manifestation of their abhorance of the lack of rule of law on the part of
the APRC. This, I am saying, is simply not enough to sway me or the likes of
me. On the NRP, I have stated that except for the clown who nearly defected
to the APRC a few weeks ago, I only know Hamat Bah as part of their
executive committee. I have also stated that I don't know their agenda for
the country. On the PDOIS, I have stated on numerous occasions that I really
admire them for their focusness and dedication to the development of the
country. However I have also stated categorically that I will not vote for a
PDOIS candidate as president as long as they still want to maintain their
socialist policies. This is fundamental to me.

Even though I have a lot of respect for Sedia Jatta personally, I am yet to
convince myself that voting for him is not vote wasted. My reason is very
simple. By saying that the D7,000.00 he was being paid as a national assemby
member is too much and deciding to put D4,500.00 of his hard earned money in
a trust fund for the benifit of his constituents, though a noble act, is
contrary to my believes. This is because as a democratically elected
president, he can turn around and tell us, the civil servants, not to expect
any salary beyond, say D4,000.00 as he has demonstrated that D2,500.00 per
month is sufficient to live on. Don't I have the right to expect some decent
wages for my skills and contribution to this nation or do I just pack up and
go abroad for a better wage and other benifits? How many of you will be
honest enough to say that your incomes, opportunities, comforts and security
have nothing or very little to do with your staying abroad? How many of you
will risk quiting your jobs or studies to come back and study or live in the
Gambia permanently when Yahya is voted out of office and the president of
your choice is elected? Please lets get real and be honest in our discourse.
I am willing to put up my last dime that most of you will not risk your jobs
to come back home permanently no matter who is president. I will also put to
you, I mean those who are honest enough, that some of you have not been to
the country for quite some time now. For God's sake, lets be honest with
each oether. I have lived abroad like some of you and to tell you the truth,
I prefer the Gambia of today gives me more hope than ever before. Don' ask
me why. It may just be hunch.

As for my identity, what's the big deal whether I am Christopher, Andrew or
Jabel? In all honesty, I have done my utmost to explain how I feel about the
prospects of the country under Jammeh without any inducement or
expectations. I have sought explanations from all and sundry as to why I
should switch allegiance to any other party and none has been able to give
me any good reasons. And please don't tell me about April 10 & 11 or
arbitrary arrests or detentions.

My advise to you people is to please get your priorities right. Go ahead
with your fund raising, educate the people about what is wrong in our
society and how these could be solved. Try to put pressure on the opposition
parties, particularly the UDP and NRP to give us an idea of how they will be
any better than Yahya Jammeh's APRC party when voted into power. Is that too
much to ask? These two parties have been in existence for nearly 5 years and
none of us, you included, have any clue as to what their agenda is. How many
of you will honestly tell me that you are very happy or very conversant with
the manifestos of any of these opposition parties? Atleast we know what to
expect from another 5 years of APRC rule, but what about 5 years of NRP,
PDOIS or UDP rule? I await your responses.

Have a good day and bye 4Now, KB Jobe.

PS: Makaveli, please do the honest thing and appologise to Thomas Forster
and quit this nonsense of trying to find out who I am. I have my own
reasons, just like some of you, to be anonymous. What's wrong with that?
