Mr Habib,
I am too sure if you have actually read the forward, or maybe you did not
understand it fully well, but the gist of his piece is FOR immigrants, and not
AGAINST.If the latter was the case then i wonder if I would hae even bothered
to read it let alone forward it to the L.

Perhaps Mr Cohen has a Jewish name, but he works with the
National Coalition Of Anti Deportation Campaigns, a group that everyday takes
the UK government to court on behalf of poor immigrants who otherwise would not
be able to afford the cost of having their cases heard and judged upon.

His Jewish origin/heritage does not bother me one bit. And please remember that
there is a clear distinction between being Jewish and being a Zionist. Jewish
parentage he is, but Zionist I do not think he is.
His group genuinely fights for the rights of refugees and immigrants in the UK,
be it for equal access to housing or state benefits, and that i can vouch for.

Please read the piece again if you have a free mo or two.

Good day to you.

Note: An english saying " Even a broken clock is correct twice a day."
