American University's School of Communication would like to offer you the chance to give your child - or the high school student of someone you know - a rich and rewarding part of the AU experience.

"Discover the World of Communications" is an exciting program sponsored by the School of Communication that gives high school students the opportunity to explore the world of professional communication.

This summer program offers 20 certificate hands-on courses taught by faculty and professionals on the American University campus. These classes use the same resources and faculty as degree-seeking SOC students.

"Discover the World of Communications" is just another way that SOC seeks to prepare future leaders in the fields of film and media arts, journalism and public communication. This season, give the gift of learning.

For more information about this valuable opportunity, contact Professor
Sarah Menke-Fish at 202-885-2098 or visit:
