Good Morning, Mr.President, Baba Jobe says you were part and parcel of the "blood diamond and gun running scandal"
  Good Morning, Mr. President,
We are very, very disturbed by this latest “blood diamond” report implicating you as a person. The report says you “indirectly contributed to the sale of the blood diamonds and gun running” in war ravage country Sierra Leone. These reports should not be buried under the carpet. They are very damaging to a President, who had time and time denied having hands into the Sierra Leone “blood diamond” saga. Jammeh can run, but cannot hide. The Freedom Newspaper will do all its means to ensure that this shameless dictator is exposed beyond redemption. This paper is not in the business of smearing the image of the Presidency in Banjul, we report truth and nothing but the truth.

Jammeh, Sedat Jobe and Baboucarr Blaize Jagne lied to the UN about Baba Jobe's blood diamond indictment-The UN should consider handing over Jammeh to the Sierra Leone court, in the interest of justice and fair play. Baba Jobe says Jammeh was part and parcel of the arms deal!!!
Mr. President, it would be ideal on your part, if you consider handing yourself to the UN War Crime Court, before it is too late. Go there and tell them your side of the story. The Gambian Community and the world at large want to know how Jammeh’s name was linked to such a well organized crimes against humanity. We all have seen how children, women and the elderly were maimed, killed, and some had their hands and legs cut off by the drugged RUF rebels. For The Gambian President to be linked to such atrocities is a cause for concern. Jammeh should clear himself in the interest of justice and fair play. The people of Liberia and Sierra Leone don’t deserve such atrocities.

Mr. President, you will be shocked to learn that Baba Jobe told students who went to his Jarra farm, some years ago that both of you were part of the arms and blood diamond deal. Jobe told students that the arms were indeed trafficked through our ports , citing national interest for such an action. One the of the students, who disclosed this classified state information to the Freedom Newspaper, was helped by Baba Jobe to study in Cuba.
The student name withheld was among the last batch of Gambian students sent to Cuba, thanks to Baba Jobe’s so called magnanimity. During a meeting with the NAPSA students, Jobe bragged that the government was part and parcel of the deal and he Jobe could not have carried out the operation without the blessing of the executive. Our source told us that Baba even went as far as saying that the President’s plane trafficked the arms and some of which were stationed in the country.

Mr. President, Baba Jobe was your errand boy. Jobe told students that you assigned him to oversee the operations of your jet. We gathered that all the proceeds of the said were hand delivered to you Yahya Jammeh. Your NIAS will be busy trying to connect the dots about the said source in Cuba, but they will fail in their bid to trace our source.
Mr. President, it is our contention that the United Nations Security Council should indict you since you benefited from the proceeds of the new millennium plane. It is unfair for Baba Jobe alone to be indicted when the main actor is at large. Jammeh should top that UN list on Liberia and Sierra Leone. This is our position. This paper will continue to lobby for the UN to extend its investigations on Jammeh’s possible conspiracy with Jobe. We have been talking to some well placed sources who promised to furnish us with vital clues on Jammeh’s role on the said blood diamond saga.
Mr. President, what can you tell us about the sudden grounding of your indicted plane? Is it true that the parts of the said plane are being secretly sold? Sources close to the Banjul International Airport said the plane’s parts were being removed following your directive. The said source promised to give us detailed information about the said issue. Just watch out our next publication.
Mr. President, the United Nations Security Council knew that you lied to them when you tried to put up a defense for Baba Jobe, shortly after the hills of the “blood diamond scandal.” The same government withdrew their poor defense for Jobe after realizing the legal ramifications for such a move. Under the current situation, it would be difficult for the UN to indict a sitting President, but what is evident is that Jammeh cannot escape trial. He must face justice sooner or later. He should be extradited to join Charles Taylor on the dock.
Mr. President, Charles Taylor’s future testimonies before the UN court will likely shake the continent including The Gambia. If the information we are privy of are to go by then, you risked being invited by the Sierra Leonean court. These reports are very, very disturbing, so to speak. “Taylor, we are told want to drown with all those who have hands on the gun running and blood diamond scandal. His evidence might be admissible by the Court if they it deem it imperative. Taylor is an orator and would want to display his oratory skills in court. His testimonies might not be in the interest of some Heads of state.” said a well placed source.
Mr. President, your down fall is nearing. A source told us that you hardly sleep these days because you thought that someone is trailing you. This is a sad state of affairs. If the President cannot sleep or travel is a cause for concern. Mr. President, we are looking forward seeing you in a war crime court one day. The atrocities you committed cannot go unpunished. You will join the list of disgraced dictators soon. Have a great day…..
