Sidibeh,

Again, thanks. I don't use outlook express. However, with my AOL service, I
know I have an option to choose a permanent setting to send out my emails
as
plain text instead of in HTML format. I have come across this in my system
but forget where but I will find it I am sure.
In the meantime, I was not going to alter the format only for individual
mails I send out. I will simply do this for all mails I post to G-L for now
until I find the option to change it in my system. I seem to have this
problem
only with mail posted to the L since none of the people I correspond with
individually have had this problem with my mails. I did find out from AOL
that I
can simply alter the mail I send to G-L and it will correct the problem for
those who were receiving my mails as blanks while at the same time it will
not
affect list recipients who never had the problem with my mails. At least
that
is what AOL confirmed and let us see if they are right.
Many thanks.

Rgds,
Jabou Joh

Sister Jabou,

Sorry that no one could get back to yoy as quickly. AOL support is probably
right about the format you send these messages in, even if the problem can
have other causes. However, I would advise that instead of simply altering
the format for individual mails, you can chnage the configuration for all
mails you post so as to avoid the problem recurring. If you are running
Outlook Express, choose Options from the Tools menu. Click on the Send tab
and choose Unformated text from the "email message format" alternative.
Click the latter's configuration butoon and choose MIME.

The configuration for outlook 2003 is even easier. I hope this helps.

good morning,
sidibeh
