Brazil coach Phil Scolari and his Senegal counterpart Bruno Metsu are in
discussions over a possible World Cup warm-up match.

Senegal's director of administration Omar Ndiaye revealed in Dakar at the
weekend that the four-time World Cup winners would like to face the Lions of
Teranga.

Senegal's profile has risen tremendously since they reached the final of the
African Nations Cup, and jumped up to 32nd in the FIFA rankings.
Both the national team coaches are currently in the Far East for a pre-World
Cup seminar.

Ndiaye said: "The Nations Cup has done us a lot of good. Our office is
flooded with requests for friendly matches.
"Brazil is the latest and coach Metsu and his Brazilian counterpart will
hopefully reach an agreement on a date."
The Lions already have dates with Saudi Arabia in Riyad
on March 27, Belgium in Brussels on May 14, and England in Taiwan on May 21.
Ndiaye hinted that the Senegal Football Federation is looking into the
possibility of arranging a farewell game for The Lions in Dakar, to give fans
a chance to see the team before they take off to the Far East to face France
in the World Cup opener on May 31.

"This is our wish," added Ndiaye. "The final word is left to coach Metsu."
