Mr Sanneh

Islam and christianity are both guilty of the same crime. They are both guilty
of murder, humiliation, torture, rape and slavery."

The problem I have with this above assertion is a very simple one and it goes
like this:- Is it the religions or their teachings that enslaved us or is it
people who purported to teach us these "alien" religions.
I think if one thinks it really hard enough the conclusion one gets is that it
is indeed the latter and not the former. I am not the most religious of people,
but i think both religions preach the equality of mankind, but knowing the
enfeebling effect power and greed has over the human soul, i think it's
the "people" and not the religions who/that should have the blame laid squarely
at their doors.

Manneh
